The Inner Compass Ritual

A Sagittarius New Moon Clearing & Vision Spell
This is a ritual for the woman standing at a threshold.
For the one who has walked winding paths.
For the one releasing what no longer fits.
For the one ready to trust her inner compass again.
This New Moon does not ask you to force a new beginning —
only to listen more deeply to what is already guiding you.
What You’ll Need
Choose what you already have. Intuition over perfection.
- One candle (white, gold, or any you’re drawn to)
- A bowl of water or a crystal or a small natural object (stone, shell, leaf)
- Pen and journal
- Optional: incense, palo santo, essential oil, soft music
Step One: Create the Space
Light your candle.
Sit comfortably.
Place one hand on your heart, one on your belly.
Close your eyes and take five slow breaths, allowing your body to soften with each exhale.
Say softly (or silently):
I arrive here as I am.
I am safe to listen.
I am willing to be guided.
Step Two: Clearing the Old Path
Sagittarius teaches us that once the arrow is released, we cannot control how it travels — only why.
This moment is about releasing what you no longer need to carry forward.
Visualise a path behind you.
See moments, roles, expectations, identities, timelines — gently loosening.
Say the Inner Compass Spell aloud or silently:
I release paths that were never mine to carry.
I trust the wisdom that lives within my body.
I allow my heart to lead, even when the way is unclear.
May what is aligned find me with ease.
May what is not fall away without struggle.
And so it is.
Pause.
Let the words settle into your chest.
If it feels right, place your worries or attachments into the bowl of water, or imagine them dissolving into the object beside you.
Step Three: Heart Opening
Bring both hands to your heart.
Breathe slowly.
Ask yourself — without forcing an answer:
What does my heart want me to know right now?
You do not need words.
You may feel warmth, emotion, or stillness.
All are welcome.
Step Four: Visioning Without Fear
(Journaling Portal)
Now open your journal.
Write freely.
No editing. No judgment. No realism required.
Begin with this invitation:
If I could be anything, go anywhere, do anything —
and fear did not exist…
Then explore:
- What would your life look like?
- Where would you live?
- How would your days feel?
- Who would you be surrounded by?
- How would you move through the world?
- What would you wear, create, offer, express?
- What parts of yourself would finally be fully alive?
Let the vision be wild, honest, expansive.
This is Sagittarius dreaming — truth over logic.
Step Five: Meeting Your Higher Self
Now gently shift the tone of your writing.
Ask:
- How does this version of me think?
- How does she care for herself?
- What does she no longer tolerate?
- What does she trust deeply?
-
What choices does she make from her body, not fear?
Then write:
One small way I can begin showing up as her now is…
Only one step is needed.
Integration over overwhelm.
Step Six: Closing the Ritual
Return your attention to the candle.
Place your hand on your heart one final time.
Say:
I do not need certainty.
I do not need to have it all figured out.
I trust the quiet knowing within me.
The path will meet me there.
Blow out the candle when you’re ready.
Carry this intention with you as the New Moon grows.
Aftercare & Integration
- Revisit your journal over the coming days
- Notice what naturally falls away
- Notice what gently asks for more space
- Let alignment be felt, not forced
